investigations

At around 7 o'clock each Monday morning, a new notice of considerable importance has been mysteriously appearing on the extraordinary noticeboard inside the entrance to Frugality Cottage, primarily for the benefit of appropriately registered patrons.

Perhaps you have not noticed that this library is magical.

Perhaps you have not even noticed that Frugality Cottage in its entirely is not only enchanting but enchanted.

You may regard Monday as the most interesting day of the week, especially here in Frugality Cottage.  It is the day upon which new activities are most likely to be initiated here.

As usual, I am doing my best to ascertain where good investment opportunities exist, for the long-term common good.

You apparently have even less time than I do for sitting down with a cup of tea in the sitting room of Frugality Cottage to discuss plans for the future, on any day of the week.

How are you planning for the future of water, tea, energy, teacups and suitably comfortable chairs?

How are you planning to acquire accurate information on where the most suitable places will be for comfortable chairs to be placed in future circumstances?

All volunteering should, in any situation, be mutually beneficial.

When volunteers, in any situation, feel coerced or otherwise abused, they are treated as little more than slaves.  They are therefore likely to find the experience traumatic.

The volunteers, here in Frugality Cottage, are guided by the Council of Enlightenment.  In turn, the volunteers guide visitors towards the official guide, as long as those visitors show an interest in becoming respectably enlightened patrons.

In most circumstances, the official virtual guide provides most of the guiding services around the cottage and its garden.  I certainly do not provide such services.

For many months now, at around 3 o'clock each Monday afternoon, Adelaidean time, I have placed a new investment note for you on the intangible bookshelf in this virtual, magical library

I intend to continue providing an investment note for you in this library each Monday afternoon at 3pm, until further notice.

Relatively effortless writing is a very different experience from the careful composition of investment notes and educational guidance and enlightening narratives and comic prose and insightful poetry and quality journalism and a strategy to transform a corrupt political world into a non-corrupt one, with or without the inclusion of satire.

If you are not yet a registered patron here, the volunteers will most likely regard you as a tourist.

All the volunteers are appropriately registered patrons.  They have therefore been assessed to be well-informed and suitably kind practitioners of mutually beneficial pleasantness.

There is much still to relate to you, especially as you apparently missed most, if not all, of the important discussions in the sitting room of Frugality Cottage last year.

I now prefer to concentrate my efforts where relative effortlessness is most likely to lead to success, hence my desire to assist with the improvement of your leadership.

If you are not particularly ignorant or silly or stupid or otherwise tedious, at least in your own estimation, I am willing to provide notes for you here in the library a little while longer than I originally intended.

I am making an investment in you here because you are probably a relatively good person.  You are unlikely, therefore, to be exceptionally selfish.

Investing is either an expression of leadership or an expression of selfishness.

I prefer to regard my approach to investing as an expression of leadership.

A suitable future for the world depends on a sense of duty to the future of life on Earth, not self-indulgent practices in the present.

But why should I contribute ideas to help you improve the world, and your own life?

You may be wondering why Frugality Cottage was never opened at all to the public in earlier times.  It was, in fact, a virtual private dwelling, hidden from view behind intertwined, intangible gardens.  It is now a research institute and investment house.  Indeed, the gardens here are research facilities themselves.
