Dear relatively thoughtful reader,
Welcome to the library of Frugality Cottage.
I hope you regard my notes here as a good use of your time.
On Monday 10 February 2020 at 3pm, I placed the first investment note on the virtual library shelf for your immediate attention.
The note was on the subject of investing time.
You may be wondering why I chose to initiate this serious of notes just as the COVID-19 pandemic was gaining strength. The death toll from the SARS‑CoV‑2 virus, by 10 February 2020, had already surpassed the 2002-2004 SARS outbreak.
Since February 2020, many people have died from COVID-19 or with COVID-19 and without it, with or without associated complications.
Many more people have experienced, and continue to experience, debilitating, long-term health problems as a consequence of COVID-19 and other diseases, and from inadequate and inappropriate medical and/or political interventions.
I am very sensitive to suffering, whether in myself, other people, or other species. Yet I always attempt to acquire as sufficiently accurate perspective. For example, I am willing to acknowledge that the usual annual, global death toll from various forms of influenza has long been unacceptably high.
I always seek out data on issues from highly reputable sources.
Over many years, I have studied the history of disease outbreaks and conflict outbreaks and their causes and long-term consequences and their possible connections.
Even so, I do not understand mathematics and sciences very well, though I certainly try my best to gain insights through statistical analysis.
I always do my best to make accurate comparisons.
Yet learning new subjects, or complicated ones, quickly exhausts me. I already have more than enough to do.Perhaps you associate authorship mainly with writing. It is, in my view, mainly associated with thinking. It is a record of thoughts, at least until an editor transforms those thoughts for their own purposes.
I prefer to express myself online without the filter of editorial intentions, particularly commercial ones.
My preference
is merely to write a few words for your imagination to experience in
order to improve your leadership.
Even so, I am only interested in investing in enlightened beings.
What, if anything, have you written about investing in enlightened philanthropy?
How do you usually prefer to examine records of various sorts?
My notes here are obviously records in themselves. You may or may not regard them as records of a healthy imagination. Most people do not understand the purpose of my work.
They do not even understand the work of the Spirit of Enlightenment.
They do not appreciate their virtual access to Frugality Cottage.
What, if anything, are you seeking to know about well-informed kindness and well-informed investing here in the library now, and possibly elsewhere in Frugality Cottage?
You may wish to join me in the sitting room here quite soon.
I do not intend to be there at all unless you arrange to meet me in that very pleasant location for a mutually important purpose.
Kind regards,
The Author
