well-informed kindness

For some time now, at around 3 o'clock each Monday afternoon, I have been leaving a new investment note for you here in the virtual library of Frugality Cottage, mainly in the hope that you are truly wonderful and kind. 

My duty is to help you ascertain the facts about yourself in order to improve your political, economic and artistic leadership.

I do my best to be a practitioner of well-informed kindness and well-informed investing.  I hope I am regarded as a thoughtful and successful survivor as well as a thoughtful and successful investor.  

I am only interested in helping to develop wonderful communities of well-informed, kind people.

That is why I recommend experiencing virtual retreats from time to time.  That way, people can become better aware of their true selves, and about nature.

Do you often retreat to a quiet library when in need of a refreshing new perspective on your life and leadership responsibilities? 

Do you learn about natural history both indoors and outdoors?

I always prefer to work behind the political scenes to ensure you can improve your performance on the world stage.  You have much work to do for the greater good.

Perhaps you regard me as a nuisance for having high expectations of you.

Whenever I have attempted to treat you gently, you have ignored my warnings.  

That is why I must act relatively assertively towards you with suitable frequency, hence the tone of the continuing, weekly investment notes.

These additional, occasional notes are mainly intended for your educational improvement.  They are meant to help improve your investment strategy. 

I hope you do not regard me as mean to you. 

But what do I mean to you, if anything?

I hope you regard me as worthy of your trust.

Even though I want to continue protecting several aspects of my identity, there have been a few things I have felt the need to share with real world leaders over the past few years, both in the sitting room of Frugality Cottage and here in the library. 

Very few people have indicated they value my life at all, perhaps because they regard me as a stranger, an outsider, an ignoramus, a nobody, and possibly even quite strange.

Perhaps you would prefer me to provide you with a fictional account of the cultural experiences I am promoting through the investment notes I have been leaving for you here each week.  I would, of course, much prefer to provide you with factual accounts.

When I was young, television was the misguided and misguiding main source of my sense of security and certainty and freedom, along with a radio dial.  They were supplemented by the books I sometimes chose for myself from libraries, and my various, direct explorations of nature. 

School was a place where I had no freedom, as was home, and workplaces.  Only my imagination gave me freedom, whether indoors or outdoors.

As my notes to you here may indicate, there is much I wish to discuss with you concerning lapses in your leadership. 

You may, alternatively, be more interested in making a nuisance of yourself.  That probably accounts for your inattentiveness towards your leadership responsibilities.

My grandparents were the main sources of security and certainty in my life when I was young.  Yet my imagination never seemed to coincide with the imaginations of anyone I knew.  I did not play with toys much.  I did not read fiction much.  I wanted the truth.

Most of my investments are private.  I am writing these words in private.  

My words only become public when a member of the public notices them.

I mainly regard you as a member of the public.

How do you usually regard members of the public, and how do you communicate with them?

How do you usually communicate with people you do not regard as members of the ordinary public?

How do you communicate with other creatures and how do they communicate with you?

How do you communicate with plants? 

I hope you will kindly read the investment note I intend to display here in the library at 3pm, local time, next Monday, and every subsequent Monday, until I am no longer able to do so.

Perhaps I should regard you as stupid rather than well-informed and kind.

I have been a victim of many types of abuses over my lifetime.  I continue to be a victim of various other misfortunes.  Yet I am not impoverished at present.  I have no surplus wealth at present, either.  And I have neither fame nor influence.

I seek no further wealth.  I seek no fame.  I only seek to be part of an intelligently kind culture, both locally and globally. 

But why do I have no political influence? 

Through my scientific work and spiritual practices, I have long had a reputation for possessing a highly advanced sense of timing, in various ways.

I also possess an ability to understand the causes of political problems.  Yet I have no power to address those problems.  All I can do is to inform you of your political responsibilities.

I hope you usually associate reasonableness and privacy with suitable moderation.

Each of my notes to you has been highly relevant and suitably timely.

I know that most sales techniques are attempts at extortion, rather than genuine helpfulness.  That is why I detest them.

I also know that most political campaigning extorts rather than exhorts.  That is why I detest domineering political campaigns and domineering politicians.

And I know that much of the media is a matter of opinion and intrusion rather than an expression of truth and kindness.  That is why I avoid accessing media except when looking for examples of quality news reporting, quality scientific reporting and quality artistry.

I know I have long been fortunate to have the time to invest in reading, especially readings of my own choosing.  

I prefer non-fiction works, preferably in clear, simple language.  I like dictionaries, encyclopaedias and atlases.  I enjoy reading history.  I like art books, even though I am not an artist myself. 

I also enjoy singing, though I am not much of a musician.

And I would certainly never sing in a library.

According to the evidence I have been attempting to collect, you have not been investing in thoughtful discussions particularly well at all.

Nor have you been investing in importantly useful information in any way whatsoever, apparently.

I, and my supervisors, are only interested in investing in enlightened beings. 

Yet I have tried my best to invest in a sense of belonging in the world of ordinary mortals.

Where is the evidence that you are investing in enlightened philanthropy as reasonably and respectfully as possible?
